Work is ongoing to provide road design standards for these regions and further extend the content for the whole of the UK. While we have recently added the North West and East Regions to the e-dart database, we thought we should let you know that behind the scenes the database is continuing to grow. There are still some datasets unavailable in the North West and East regions and we are awaiting feedback from council officers as to the availability of recently adopted publications. In the meantime we are currently moving onto the West Midlands region and hope to active this dataset in the very near future. However if there is a specific Local Authority for which you require standards/guidelines please let us know and we will attempt to prioritise the data input. As always please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries/comments on the site and its contents.

The online database is in the process of being updated with standards for authorities in the North West of England, we hope to have this information live by the end of July. E-dart will continue to expand, with the objective being to include information for all UK authorities. In doing so the website should become one of the most comprehensive online libraries for transport planners and engineers in the UK.

E-dart has been updated to include parking standards for Local Authorities in the North East of England. Road Design standards are in the process of being included and will be available soon.

E-dart website was updated today Monday 13th April to include further design information with regards Cycle Parking Provision and Carriageway Widening on Curves requirements. In addition, links to all local authority websites have been included with specific reference to the latest Local Transport Strategy, Local Plan and Structure Plan publications.
